Lines and light — that's what I like about these two photographs. Oh, and color, too.
During Thanksgiving break, I wandered the city with my friend, Lena, seen above. I brought my camera along to shoot pictures for a class assignment in my photojournalism class. I had to photograph a pictorial, or human cityscape.
The photograph was supposed to be about the color but not just "color of color's sake." It had to reinforce the mood, the environment, the moment. I think the muted blues and yellows in these photos do that. The repetition of lines and the great light don't hurt either.
